Get Organized! Track Your Favorite Blogs
January 17, 2010 § Leave a comment
I just learned about a brilliant online service called bloglovin’. It’s one of those ideas that when you hear about it, you immediately realize how obvious and bloody useful it is, and you can’t help but think, “I should have thought of that myself.”
The concept is simple. It is founded on the reality that it’s next to impossible to proactively keep up with all of the blogs out there that might be of interest to you, even if you do sign up as a follower, the result is umpteen emails in your inbox informing you of updates.
Enter bloglovin.com. You fill out their quick sign-up form to create an account and then search for and opt to “follow” all of the blogs that you can’t live without. You control when you will receive emails alerting you of updates: each time one of your favorite blogs is updated, once a day, or not at all. Either way, all of the new postings are tracked on your bloglovin’ account. You can also create groups to manage your blog subscriptions by topic/theme (e.g. fashion, books, etc.).
Try it. You’ll like it.
